David Ironside


With over 30 years experience in the Construction industry David trained with a very well regarded regional Developer and Contractor through the late 1980s and 1990s completing special works projects and developments across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. Notable projects included the largest barn conversion in the South of England near Alton, Hampshire and the conversion of an old Bus Depot into luxury offices in Baughurst, Hampshire which included the preservation of the second largest Belfast truss roof system in the world. With over 300 projects now completed including extensions, alterations and refurbishments of many private residences together with individually designed executive homes, David still enjoys the attention to detail that every project, regardless of size, requires.

Ashley Heard

Contracts Manager

Ashley is our Contracts Manager and brings 20 years construction experience to our projects. Starting his career as a Carpenter and Joiner with a local Construction company and Carpentry sub-contractor he graduated to Site Foreman, Site Manager and is now responsible for the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. Dedicated to producing a first class product he is detail focused and solutions orientated. Hands on when he needs to, Ashley brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to each project we deliver on behalf of our Clients.

Sue Linaker

Office Manager

A trained Bookkeeper, Sue has many years experience working with Building and Roofing Contractors. Sue’s role as Office Manager is multi faceted – HR, Purchasing, Accounts, Payroll and our go to person for pretty much anything and everything. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she is probably the most important person in our Company.

Danny French

Divisional Manager & Estimator

Danny is a qualified Electrician by trade, NICEIC certified, degree qualified and runs our Electrical division – AJM Electrical. He is responsible for all the Company Electrical works – Planning, installation, sign off and certification whilst additionally taking a leading role in tendering and estimating new projects on behalf of AJM Design & Build. He is often the first person our Clients will meet but involved throughout the life of a project right up to handover and certification.

Jon Bushaway


With many years in construction and having managed his own business, Jon brings to AJM a wealth of knowledge and hands on experience.  He has joined the team as our clients first point of contact, and will be their introduction to AJM and our working philosophy. Jon will produce estimates or tender returns for Private Clients and Architects alike and also runs AJM Landscaping, our external works division that concentrates solely on the space around your home.

Nina Goodsall

Sales & Marketing Assistant

Nina joined AJM with extensive Sales, Marketing & Customer liaison experience having spent 20 years in a senior role with Bentley Cars. She has a genuine passion and enthusiasm for Construction and even produces her own reclaimed and repurposed furniture as a past time.

With her considerable client facing experience and attention to detail, Nina is instrumental in customer introductions and bringing the business new opportunities and enquiries. Nina is involved with both pre-contract customer enquiries and post contract handover management to the Construction team.

Charlotte Wells

Assistant Commercial Manager

Charlotte studied Construction Design & Management at college and has started her Construction Career with AJM in the commercial department (Purchasing, Surveying & Estimating).

Charlotte is bright and technically minded with great customer skills and is currently in charge of the purchase of materials and sub-contract order placement for AJM. She assists with the financial management of our projects ensuring AJM remains competitive within our  market place.
